Presentation of Export Alliance for Strategic Technologies /EAST/

EAST o.z. is a loose association of firms in related fields whose products or services are complementary and are designed for common promotion in foreign markets. It's primar sectors are engineering and building industry, energetics, IT and environmental technology. This alliance helps to overcome the disadvantages related to lack of experience with foreign markets, reduces costs associated with the entry into foreign markets, helps obtaining tender conditions, insurance coverage as well as bank commitements  and others. EAST applies various multiplying effects for its members, as well as quick information sharing on tenders, possibilities of coordination of common projects focused on development, research, applications of science or education. This alliance was founded in 2009 and focuses mainly on territories able to accept quality production and modern technologies.

Our aim is to pave the way for establishment for our members in the markets of the European Union, Russia, Asia, Middle East, Latin America and Africa. We seek to establish ourselves in countries with strong financial potential such as the GCC - Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar as well as Iraq, India, Vietnam and China. We will also participate in projects of reconstruction and rehabilitation of local infrastructure technologies exported from the former Czechoslovakia to countries of the former USSR, the Near and Middle East, Africa , Asia and Latin America.

EAST members will have the opportunity to present their profile on our website in a shared database. We will cooperate with slovak ministry of economy, institutions supporting the export activities as well as foreign unions, associations and chambers of commerce in territories of our interest. We believe that our efforts will create a professional and competitive conditions, especially for small and medium enterprises, to present their products and services at competitive and strong foreign markets with strong financial potential.
